Speed vs. Velocity

Speed is how fast you are moving.Speed is like velocity but velocity is the the distance divided by time. Average velocity is the velocity over a period of time. But instantaneous velocity is your velocity at that exact second.

In class today we tried to make our motion look like a certain graph. These graphs are necessary in school because it show how fast someone is moving. Also it shows if someone picked you there speed or slowed down there speed in any way.
