Phase Change
Today I saw when I boiled water the water heated up and started to boil.If you removed heat then the water wouldnt turn into steam and evaporate. The water started to steam up and that was in the middle of the change. Once you didnt see the stream any more then the water turned into a gas.
Too Hot Too Cold
Things heat up at different rates.Water ,silver and milk all heat up at different rates. Each substance has a different boiling point so it depends on how much heat it needs to heat up. For milk it can take 5 minutes but for water it can take 15 minutes and for silver it can take like an hour because it substance heats up differently.

Interference
Constructive interference is the crest of a wave that is super positioned with the crest of another wave to increase the amplitude of the wave.Where as a destructive interference is when the crest of the wave is super postitioned with the trough of another wave to decrease the amplitude. An example of something that interferes and makes something smaller is when hot water is in contact with snow. The hot water makes contact with the snow making the snow dissolve into the ground. An example of something that interferes with and makes it larger is water and a plant. The plant needs water to grow which makes the plant increase in size. It becomes larger than it already is.
Standing Waves
Today in class we seen Ms.Reid try and make different types of waves. One end of the slinky was connected to the computer and one end was in her hand. Someone timed 10s for each wave while Ms.Reid changed the speed of each wave.I learned different types of waves. A compressional wave moves parallel from the direction if the wave.

No Effect
When I fart I want to blow people way. Nothing usually happens. Maybe someone walks away from me but I want to affect people but my farts being so powerful that people literally fall when I fart.I know that my farts don't do anything because when I fart people don't get blown away.
Simple Harmonic Motion
A simple harmonic motion is a pendulum. A pendulum is a weight that swings back and forth in a repetitive motion. Some examples of simple harmonic is a swing. A swing moves back and forth in a repetitive motion. Also a grandfather clock has a pendulum in the inside of it.Lastly a ball floating up and down in a pool.

Electricity Generator
The generator i am most interested in is solar power. I am most interested in solar power because i know the most information on Solar power. The solar power only uses the sun to give electricity to us. No need to us chemicals to turn the turbine. But its not on demand, when the sun isn't out the solar is on demand.Solar power takes up a lot of space but is not cost efficient.

circuit diagram
We learned about different symbols. We use these symbols to differentiate from voltage to light bulbs because if we just have random circles on a circuit diagram you would get confused on which circle meant what. The light bulb symbol with a V in the middle is easy to recognize because Voltage starts with a V. Some thing hard to remember is the three different ways to draw a light bulb. Some one can get confused on the different ways or forget how to draw it.
pretzel circuit
Today in class we did a lab about circuits. I was an electron and I got 2 pretzel every time I passed the "battery" or pretzel bag. When I passed a light bulb I had to put a pretzel in the box. The pretzel in the box represented how the electron gives the light bulb its energy. We had to walk on tape which represents wires. In a series circuit we walked along the wire in a straight box but with a parallel circuit we got to chose which way we wanted to go.

No wires world
I live in a world where u don't need wires to power something with electricity. We call this world Electrofree. A big plus is that we power all of our lights with one generator and the energy flows threw the air to your lights. Something the you need to be aware is that U can get electrocuted badly if u step in a place with to much electricity. Hope you Ike your visit in our world.
Electricity vocabulary
Electricity is made up of protons neutrons and electrons. Protons are positive. Electrons are negative. And neutrons are in the middle. A proton will repel from another proton. Same for electrons , electrons repel from other electrons. Protons and electrons are attracted to each other. A conductor can transport electricity very quickly. But electricity does not flow threw insulators good.
Van de Graff
The generator is what made the light bulb light up. When u cranked the generator it pushed electrons and gave energy to the light bulb making it light up. I would like to test and see if u can light up a regular 69 watt light bulb and how fast you would have to crank the generator.
Insulators and conductors
One insulator that I touched today was my wooden floor. I know this is an insulator because electricity does not flow threw wood easily. One conductor that I touched today was my metal door knob. I know this is an conductor because when I touched the metal I felt a shock in my hand. This is cause by a lot of electrons flowing fast from my hands to the metal.

Mu-Friction
I think friction happens is because if there was no friction everything would continue to move forever.Friction is what stops a ball when you kick it. Friction acts as a resisting force between two surfaces. Also another surface is a bowling ally. There is not a lot of friction so you can easily fall. That is what friction is.
Another Planet
I lived on earth the first decade of my life but i discovered this new planet named Guarla. The only difference is the gravity. This planet is twice as big as earth. Its harder to run to this planet. Also you have to have strong legs because the amount of gravity is a great deal more then earth. Also if you throw a ball, the ball will only go three feet unlike earth where the ball will go six feet. That is the difference on earth compared to Guarla.
