Interference
Constructive interference is the crest of a wave that is super positioned with the crest of another wave to increase the amplitude of the wave.Where as a destructive interference is when the crest of the wave is super postitioned with the trough of another wave to decrease the amplitude. An example of something that interferes and makes something smaller is when hot water is in contact with snow. The hot water makes contact with the snow making the snow dissolve into the ground. An example of something that interferes with and makes it larger is water and a plant. The plant needs water to grow which makes the plant increase in size. It becomes larger than it already is.
Standing Waves
Today in class we seen Ms.Reid try and make different types of waves. One end of the slinky was connected to the computer and one end was in her hand. Someone timed 10s for each wave while Ms.Reid changed the speed of each wave.I learned different types of waves. A compressional wave moves parallel from the direction if the wave.

No Effect
When I fart I want to blow people way. Nothing usually happens. Maybe someone walks away from me but I want to affect people but my farts being so powerful that people literally fall when I fart.I know that my farts don't do anything because when I fart people don't get blown away.
Simple Harmonic Motion
A simple harmonic motion is a pendulum. A pendulum is a weight that swings back and forth in a repetitive motion. Some examples of simple harmonic is a swing. A swing moves back and forth in a repetitive motion. Also a grandfather clock has a pendulum in the inside of it.Lastly a ball floating up and down in a pool.
